About the Event

The event will be the first ever at Benaroya Hall that honors Black History Month. We are certain that bringing together 2,500 people for a night featuring Al Jarreau, along with the celebrated 40-member Holy Name of Jesus Morningstar Choir from Los Angeles, will guarantee a memorable evening for the community.

Proceeds from this show will benefit the Father James Mallahan Endowment Fund for Holy Rosary School in West Seattle. Earnings from this endowment fund support tuition assistance allowing students to attend Holy Rosary, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

We are also pleased to announce that a percentage of the evening’s profits will support Seattle’s African American community by funding the African American Academy and the Rotary Boys and Girls Club. Please browse this site to learn more about Holy Rosary Parish and School, what has been planned for the show, and the African American Academy and the Rotary Boys and Girls Club.

We invite you to be a sponsor of this prominent event in Seattle’s world-renowned symphony hall.
